the windows installation is windows 10 圆4, with the latest april 2018 update. the key is the same on the m.2 wifi module port on the motherboard and the intel wireless 9260 card. The motherboard should be compatible, it is an x299 socket motherboard, running your company's flagship core i9 processor 7960x. it is only the wireless part of the 9260 that is causing issues. installed intel 9260 m.2, wasn't recognized at first, but after windows update (which crashed with BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER after installing intel proset wireless drivers) bluetooth from the adapter was recognized, but wifi was not. New build, fresh win 10 圆4 install on core i9 7960x system, with motherboard that supports m.2 key e wifi.
